Pros
If you are desperate for a job right out of college, go for it. Only as a LAST resort.
Cons
There are more than I can list, so i'll just highlight the big cons that come to mind. BAD MANAGEMENT | Management has no respect for their employees. Not only will you be ridiculed during the average work day but you will be repeatedly cussed out in front of the entire office. Each employee gets a turn. It was like clock work. Upper management have in office affairs and don't care to hide it. We don't care if you want to cheat on your husband/wife and children, that's your business. But when you disappear for hours at a time and spend the company's money on your "meeting dates" that's when there is an issue. NO WORK/LIFE BALANCE | When I say NO, I mean literally none. You are expected to take work home with you pretty much every weekend. If you think you can leave early on Christmas eve or any other holiday you are sadly mistaken. I understand that in this industry there are "late nights" but the amount of work/late nights that this company expects you to do is most definitely against every labor law. REVOLVING DOOR SYNDROME | Once someone is hired, another one bites the dust. Either people realize that their talents are better used elsewhere or they get fired on the spot with no sign or notice. UNDER PAID | Not only do they pay their starting designers minimum wage, they under pay their "art directors" too. I'm sorry, but if your "art director" has been with the company for a few years with out a raise in pay, moving them to a pretty new office with a door and window just to put a band-aid on the situation isn't right. There is so much more I could say about this terrible company, I could go on for days. Use this as a warning. There are other ways to "get experience." I never thought I could ever love my job again after working at Real Integrated. Thankfully, I was wrong.
