Pros
Flexible working hours, free lunches on Fridays, free fruit and the odd nice person. There aren't any more pros but I have to fill this section with a minimum of 20 words...
Cons
Where do I start?! - On my first day the position I was was employed to do had completely changed and the MD showed pornographic material to me. Yes, really! :| - There is a very high turnover of staff, which should highlight problems within the company but HR did not seem to notice/care. - Management only care about overall profits of the company rather than looking at the issues within it, such as low staff morale within the company. It’s as though they’ve read a book on how to run a company in the 1930’s and gone by the rules in that. - Sitting with rude, racist, loud and obnoxious people would cause an unfriendly working environment, to put it mildly. - Little is offered to develop staff, so many employees feel they cannot remain and advance their careers. - Insanely long and over-complicated "mission statement" that no one could understand or even care to try! It is irrelevant to the day-to-day running of the company. Goals are not clear to anyone within the company and therefore cannot relate to the mission. - They mainly deal with charities. They like to get as much money out of the larger charities as possible but ignore the smaller ones, and only offering certain materials to the "better" charities. Overall, my 1 Star rating is being generous! I'd have given it 0 if Glass Door had that option!
