Pros
- Lots of great and talented people to work with - OK place to get some experience and learn, if new to the industry - Overtime is minimal - Fairly relaxed working atmosphere - There is some room for changing roles within the company - Free fruit and Coffee - 2 annual company social events (summer BBQ and Xmas dinner) - Fairly financially secure
Cons
- Senior management are essentially an old boy's club that are totally out of touch with their employees - No defined company culture - Outdated management practices - Outdated design practices - 80% of projects are essentially spin offs of their main Sniper Elite franchise -Salaries are below average at one of the most expensive cities in the UK (Oxford) - Benefits are virtually non existent (They have recently somewhat started rectifying that with a health insurance scheme) - Facilities are subpar and the building is literally a windowless warehouse - Annual reviews may or may not happen, and its very department dependant - Difficult to get meaningful raises or more senior roles - Outdated tech and company seems to always be behind the curve - No interest to invest more in making better or different games - No training of any kind (at least for me personally) - Very little transparency and staff engagement -High staff turnover
