Pros

- Great teammates, anyone below upper management is friendly and helpful - Wide variety of games and media produced, which can keep work interesting - Remote work possibilites

Cons

- Hiring practices are prejudiced against immigrants. No wage brackets are used, which results in wage differences of ~15k£ for the same role, with more experienced immigrants taking lower pay. Without any system in place, you get a better salary by being from UK and knowing the realities, which results in prejudice towards non-natives - Terribly incompetent upper management that cares more about covering themselves than helping you; unhelpful HR that are a definition of pencil pushers - No bonus scheme, the only thing you get for overtime is food - Absolutely ancient and poorly maintained proprietary game engine - No reward for going the extra mile, expect only a pat on the back - Career progression is not formalised, career track is designed so that you are at the mercy of your manager - Projects are poorly managed and produced, resulting in unnecessarily hectic deadlines
