Pros
The work is fresh and exciting. There's nothing unintentional about the the tech stack, they've selected it through careful consideration, experimentation, and trial and error. I appreciate that even though very much a start-up, they take the time to design and implement things to scale and perform, not just to make them work and get them out of the way.
The founders really want Receeve to succeed, it's very clear they're not just looking for a paycheck due to the amount of care they put into every decision, the open communication, and transparency offered to every single employee. Personal time is respected, and I've never felt pressured to work unreasonable hours. You will succeed if you can take ownership of the work you've been tasked with, and take initiative making proactive desicions towards accomplishing what needs to be done with autonomy.
Cons
Work is rewarding, but pay is a bit below market.
You are expected to learn many of the things you need on your own. They don't expect you to know everything, but if you aren't curious and resourceful you will feel lost.
