Pros

Great people. Lots of growth, therefore lots of future opportunity.

Cons

With Growth, there are growing pains. Training needs to be tightened up all across the board. Also- Company needs to provide Paid sick leave(Separate from Vacation time). With a company this size, You want your employees to be able to get healthy, and not worry about losing pay. This year, one person got sick, and the entire office ended up sick because no one can afford to lose pay and have not yet accrued enough vacation time/ or is forced to really "choose" between going on vacation with their family, or being sick.

Thank you for leaving feedback. We do have some wonderful people working here and you are absolutely right, there are tons of growing pains that come with growth and training is one of them. We are currently working on a new training plan for all levels of employees and hope to be able to roll this out in the fall. In regards to Paid Time Off –we offered separate sick and vacation time in the past, but employees requested to be able to use sick time for vacation days and vice versa so we combined all time into one bucket –Paid Time Off (PTO). Recently, we shortened the amount of employment time required to jump to the higher tiers. We will strive to continue to improve our benefits as we grow.

Pros

I have never met an owner so involved with his co-workers. He is extremely humble and always doing events to keep up employee morale. Everyone works well as a team very eager to share information and help each other grow. The work you do is appreciated and there isn't a closed door policy all are open when needed. It is a great feeling to come to work!

Cons

I feel some communication may get lost. It is hard being a growing company and get information to everyone!

Thank you for your feedback. You have voiced a common concern. While not officially a newsletter yet, we started posting and/or discussing "Hawk Happenings" last week. We are hopeful that this step will keep everyone feeling more connected. It is our intention to publish updates each month as you have suggested. Pros

Having a solid crew made working there amazing. Took care of meals as well as lodging.

Cons

Could have long commute to job site
