Pros

The subsidized lunches are amazing and most of the people in lower level roles are phenomenal.

Cons

From the first day I started at RV, I knew that I could be disposed of at any given moment for any reason. After four years, that day - as for all employees at RV, finally came. I worked in constant fear for my Job. The company trip and amazing pay of yesterday are no more. Not even for managers (which I was).

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at RV. We’re very sorry to hear such a negative outlook and experience, because we take job security and stability for our employees very seriously. While we strive to create an environment where all current employees – especially managers – feel comfortable voicing concerns and feedback, we understand that we still have work to do. Recently, we launched several new leadership initiatives within our sales center to continue improving in areas where we’ve received feedback, specifically around career growth and consistency as you’ve outlined here. Lastly, while you are correct - the days of the company trip are over (it’s just not feasible anymore with 3,800 employees!) – we’ve replaced it with Culture FEST, an annual company-wide tradition where we bring A-list entertainment right to our headquarters in Charlotte. This event is more inclusive and accessible than a trip, enabling more employees to participate. Again, we appreciate your review and have shared it with our leadership team. Our hope is to continue fostering an environment where current employees feel empowered to share feedback and help us get better every day.

Pros

Strong ownership, opportunity to manage people early, great people, nice campus. You will work on interesting problems and external companies. Great training if the space interests you.

Cons

Business future is uncertain, up or out management principles. New senior leaders somewhat disconnected from the day-to-day. Commute from Charlotte is horrible.
