Pros
I started red ventures inspired and ready to take on my career, putting in the necessary hard work to succeed and develop great relationships. Red ventures provided a training ground to accelerate my technical skills and provide knowledge of their business model that could be replicated at any other large digital marketing firm. Knowledge that I will build on at other companies.
Cons
The good culture is what RV prides itself on yet throughout my time the opposite was true, management ignores the toxicity that reigns through each team. Toxic directors and VPs who neglect great talent and can destroy careers at any moment because they feel like it. The review cycles are poorly managed and made to suppress incomes and talent. I wouldn’t recommend anyone who believes in developing a long healthy career to work here. The stress worrying about how your perceived only to get pushed out after producing great work is unacceptable. Once you leave the company you realize how poorly everyone around the Charlotte market thinks of RV.
