Pros
-You get comfortable with how cut and dry the job is, and the fact that nobody wants to work here so they can't replace you. And yes people will take advantage of this as much as they can. -When the job is such a dumpster fire coworkers band together to make things a little bit more tolerable, in all honesty you get to work with some of the most down to earth people, you find you have a lot in common, specially your empty wallets.
Cons
-Insane amount of favoritism, if the owner likes you you get paid way more, if he thinks anything else of you or wants to blame something on you you get paid way less. -Micromanaged and surveyed on cameras more than Xi Jinping surveys the Chinese people (literally even the break room has a camera) -No paid lunch break -Pays just enough to survive on a ration of ramen noodles and ice soup -If you make the slightest mistake you will be berated by higher ups as purposely attacking the company (no seriously, if you forget to do a restocking fee good freaking luck) -All the stress caused by higher ups will be taken out on you -Horribly understaffed so you will do the work of 4 people in exchange for peanuts -Giant pay gap between management and your pay (but they still can't afford to cough up a penny more) -Benefits are way too expensive to actually be worth anything -You'll go to dispatches that are either hoarder houses or ones that will manage to give you second-hand lung cancer -You will be wringed out until the very last drop but never feel an ounce of appreciation -No company events -Roach infested break room -AC barely functions and no one cares to pay to fix it -Building is in shambles -You will be working with the worst of the worst customers -Rules are made and changed every day, so what was okay yesterday might get you yelled at today but you will get no warning -You're going to have to work weekends no matter what, there's no chance of you getting weekends off -Pay can be deducted or increased randomly at will -Management plays by a "rules for thee but not for me" rule, they'll screw you over and make you carry their weight -You will be the scapegoat whenever things go wrong, even if it wasn't your fault. -No company events -When the store is profiting it's great for management but it's still not enough to give you a raise, but you will get a cool pizza party though (Shout out to Russo Brothers) -If anyone steals and you had no idea it happened, it's still on you -They could not care less about the employees, you are a number, that's it. But please don't leave because literally nobody else will apply for this job. -Daily verbal abuse
