Pros

Good pay and benefits including unlimited PTO

Cons

Their public handbook may suck you in but they don't follow their own values. I soon discovered that the head of sales left the month before I started but nobody would tell me why. A month later a new head of sales started and the head of my department left shortly after. Then came the hiring freeze announced shortly after raising 300 million dollars. Key people started "quitting" but we soon learned they were forced to do so. Lastly, there was the 10% reduction in force. These are not the actions of a company that brags about transparency.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Remote took every step to ensure we remain sustainable and efficient during the current economic crisis and we were transparent even when it was really hard, we are sad to see you did not experience this in your role. Our current attrition is 2.2%, which is well below industry averages, however we are continuously working on always improving our non-regretted attrition and keeping it low. Lastly, we take social engagement very seriously and building relationships is part of our core. We love talking about lego, shoes, pets and all things that matter to all our Remoters from a social and fun perspective and will always leave room for this.

Pros

Multiple interviews with people having different partnership roles gives a good idea of how the communication goes internally and the overall company culture

Cons

If you're looking for a quick hire, having multiple interviews is not for you

Pros

Great people, great direct managers.

Cons

Leadership is disconnected. Very much the throw it away if it doesn't work mentality.
