Working here is extremely disappointing. The studios can be falling apart, even in client facing areas. Leadership treats staff like children, shows no loyalty to clients or employees, and prioritizes money over quality or safety. Client treatments are rushed and corners are consistently cut — they remove necessary supplies, discourage staff from communicating with clients, and disregard important protocols/laws to squeeze more appointments in.
While the starting pay is decent for a customer-service-style nursing job, documented promises of raises were not kept. I had to scratch and claw for equal pay and, after several years of asking, received only a pitiful, non equitable raise.
Employees are vocal about their unhappiness and it is a known part of the internal culture, and management does their best to drown out concerns with toxic positivity flooding out of headquarters, where their day-to-day includes luxuries on the company’s dollar.
Serious safety concerns, including bloodborne pathogen risks and incorrect treatment settings, were brushed off. Staff concerns are ignored, and there’s zero respect for our time — we're expected to cram excessive tasks into shifts and stay overtime. There seems to be a repeated issue with pay inequality between male and female employees, even when women have higher qualifications.
While following direction of questionable leadership, the environment undermines the integrity of licensed professionals’ work. I would not recommend working here to anyone who values their professional license, ethical standards, or basic respect.
