Pros
RSS is privately held, so there is accountability, but also not daily internal "budget calls" like some large tech environments.
The company's approach is engineering centric, so if you like working with great technical PMs and engineers, this is the place for you.
RSS hires good people who know their trade. This results in great outcomes for our clients/ many team members who can show results without being over-managed, and great relationships and reputation across the industry.
Cons
There are less than 50 people on the team, and the company hosts events a couple times a year. If you're working from the field/ remote, that means it may take you a while to get to "know the culture." I was fortunate that I had working relationships with some employees prior, so felt comfortable and was able to be effective right away. I encourage you to get to know the company if you want to work here.
Engineering centered approach means we have super valuable resources engaged from beginning of projects. This is different than what I've experienced in the rest of the industry, and sometimes a learning curve for clients/ prospects.
