Pros
The culture at ResCare is one that more companies should strive to emulate. After working in Government jobs, Social Service, Education, for myself and at a Non-profit I wasn't sure what working for ResCare would be like. It has been hands down one of the best. They walk the talk, other staff members really want to help you and will do so even if you made a mistake or don't get it the first time around. Yes, it is a private company, but customer service is just as much inward facing as outward facing. These are talented people and a company I am proud to work with and happy to have found as my new place of work.
Cons
You need to be a person who is proactive with questions and getting your needs met. If that is not you, this may not be the company to work for on a long term basis.
