Pros

The best thing about Residently is the people. Top talent who are great to work with. There's a real feeling of team spirit and everyone working towards the same goal. On top of that, the CEO has an incredibly strong vision which helps direct the company. Anyone who has rented for any significant period of time knows that renting sucks for the renter - there are very few landlords, agents, or property managers who have the renters' interests at heart. Our mission is to change that, and as a renter myself that means a lot.

Cons

I have yet to come across any real cons working at Residently. The only thing I could say is that whilst the vision is strong, the details of how we'll get there can change rapidly. However, that is true of any successful startup and is of course a key advantage startups have over large slow-moving incumbents. But if you are used to working for large corporates, it could be a significant change you may not enjoy.

Pros

I've only been with Residently for a couple of months, and it's been great at every point from the interviewing process, to my first couple of day with the company, to the day-to-day work. The team are all brilliant and work hard together to build excellent software, these people all really care about the work they are doing. I hadn't used Ruby before joining (I was previously a Front End Developer) and have been given tons of time to learn and practice. There are lots opportunities to make my mark on the products I'm working on, and we have monthly hackathon days to try out new ideas.

Cons

Non I can think of
