Pros

Nice location. Clean facility. Free coffee/tea. Above average benefits. Hard working people.

Cons

Pay structure below market. Extensive hours with little reward. Greedy executives who think only of profits at the expense of product quality and employee life. Retalix primary focus is about profit, with little concerns for employee life. Undefined and poorly documented software. Buggy software and no emphasis on fixing the root causes. Just do the quick fix. Employees are treated as if they don't have a choice but to work there. ============ Expect to work 50+ hrs work week. Expect big brother looking over your shoulder. Expect slave work for peanut salary. Expect to do a work of 2-3 person. Expect to not to spend quality time with your family, weekday or weekends. Expect to be own by Retalix. Everything else is secondary, family included.

Pros

Good benefits, 401K match (with NCR acquisition)

Cons

Israelis run the show - my way or highway. Can't understand why NCR hasn't taken the reigns. Weird work ethics - "F" bombs are common in everyday language in a white collar job. If your boss is Israeli, all I can say is - get the hell out of here. They will favor their kind so shamelessly and run all over you. On top of it, lots of people with no degree and experiences like store clerks/cashiers athe numbers- made to be Directors and Principals. beware of their 'professionalism'!! Only emphasis is achieve Targets. Management will clearly tell you they are not interested in growing your career or investing in your learning. What amazes me is the shameless attitude by big bosses. If you are in Supply Chain Management (GEMS) and you are the kind who is a true professional, watches what he says, and does work honestly- you are the worst match for this place. Do yourself a favor and start looking elsewhere.
