Pros

-Base salary is at or above average -Benefits are decent -Work from home flexibility -Pre-Covid it was enjoyable getting into the restaurants -Restaurant industry can be fun and things are different everyday

Cons

-Management can be quite manipulative when trying to get employees to do what they want -Upper and lower leadership pushes and encourages sales people consistently to be in the field/in restaurants regardless of the situation with Covid. -Upper leadership tried to ease stress during Covid by awarding employees extra days off, but then regional management would not allow it ("did not apply to sales force") -Quotas were not eased during pandemic -Comp plan is being changed on a dime, especially during 2020, sometimes in the middle of the month, depending on how much the company wants to pay out -Management attempting to "motivate" sales team by talking about how much less money they are personally making now and sales needed to help change that for personal gain

Rewards Network Response

We appreciate your perspective. Yes, we did change in 2020, the world changed in 2020 and Rewards Network had to learn to operate in an unprecedented environment. As always, and especially throughout the pandemic, we not only encouraged, but demanded a safety-first mentality. Our Account Executives, in the past and now, have the opportunity to perform their job responsibilities from home, going into the field when comfortable. Our Sales Incentive team adjusted our variable compensation plans by product, allowing our field sales Account Executives to earn more in light of the changes in the market and with our clients. This environment has required all of us to quickly adapt and pivot on strategy. RN has even sent PPE supplies to all of our field employees with their health in mind. Rewards Network participated in the FFCRA program which provided any employees impacted by COVID with paid time off. Furthermore, Rewards Network provided employees with additional holidays and time off intended to provide time to unwind and connect with their family and friends. We truly value your feedback, as we strive to always make every single employee feel safe, heard, and satisfied. If you feel you were not treated fairly please email peopleteam@rewardsnetwork.com.
