Pros
You work with some great people who want to make a difference. There was a high level of collaboration among consultants and a desire to create something unique for the marketplace. Salaries were competitive.
Cons
Top leadership continued to make changes in structure that created a "top heavy" consulting organization, which eventually imploded during the economic downturn. In addition, there was not a commitment to invest in some of the consulting areas. Finally, most of the sales force was hired for selling outplacement and few were able to effectively sell consulting services.
