Pros
The drawbacks of working for this company are extensive and ultimately outweigh any positive aspects of the role.
Cons
“From the outside, this company appears to be an exciting opportunity to work for a fast‑growing ‘startup.’ Don’t be fooled. The company is significantly overleveraged and expanded far too quickly without the capital needed to sustain that growth. While rapid growth is often positive, in this case it left the organization unable to keep up with demand and operational needs. They are clearly in over their heads. The private equity firm that owns the company appears to make the key decisions, and the CEO either has little autonomy or little concern for employee well‑being. Despite having a workforce of roughly 600 employees, approximately 150 were recently laid off. The company continues to struggle to keep pace, and it seems likely they will eventually be acquired by a more stable, better‑structured organization.
