Pros

I have never worked at nor heard of another company that takes care of its employees as well as Rippleworks does. There is a genuine commitment to providing both personal and professional support to each and every one of us. In place of a more typical competitive culture, there is a culture of learning and collaboration. We get to work on issues that we're passionate about without the self-sacrifice that often comes with social sector roles. I also feel that our commitment to DEIB has been conscientiously developed and demonstrated, which is rare. I can't speak highly enough about the team of incredible individuals that work at Rippleworks and how that is really at the core of what makes it great.

Cons

You may never want to leave! (No really, I'm not kidding)

Pros

This team cares about people, learning, and creating a great place to work...while trying to make the world a better place. Everyone is humble, curious, and reflective. There is a real embrace of being at the bottom of a learning curve and sprinting to the top. Even if you don't have experience doing something, the culture is such that you can raise your hand and learn on the job. They take management seriously so you will be surrounded by mentors and people who will help you grow. They take internal promotions seriously and always look inward before they hire externally. The work is also fascinating but I definitely stay people of the people.

Cons

They are growing and moving fast. So if you don't like a fast-paced environment, this isn't the place for you. There is also a level of ambiguity to the work. Because this team is growing, learning, and trying new things, there isn't a "playbook" that tells you what to do next. You have to figure it out. So, if you want a more prescriptive workload, this isn't the place for you. People work hard here. The work is inspiring, motivating and impactful so sometimes it is hard to take a step back and have balance.
