Pros

This is the best work environment I have ever worked with. The partners are extremely supportive, invested in you and your growth, and just wonderful people to work with. They are easily approachable and have you in mind first. I will never work at a better company.

Cons

I tried hard to think if there were any cons and there weren't any. It is truly a perfect company.

Pros

Rise offers a high degree of flexibility, which has allowed me to maintain a healthy and sustainable work-life balance while also while supporting a team that is doing meaningful and impactful work. I feel like there is a strong commitment to the team and their success. Employees are encouraged to build new skills and take on responsibility. The leadership is thoughtful, approachable, and genuinely invested in both the work and the people doing it.

Cons

I do not have anything negative to say about this company, the leadership or the team.

Pros

Rise Strategy Group offers meaningful, rewarding work, primarily with social service and mission-driven nonprofit clients. Team members often work across levels of the organization, which provides visibility into both strategy and execution and allows staff to understand multiple perspectives. Through client-facing work, employees have the opportunity to interact with trusted civic leaders and members of their teams, which can lead to lasting professional relationships and personal growth over time. The firm operates in a hybrid work environment that values flexibility and trust, and senior leadership is aware of the demands of client-facing work and makes a point to recognize staff effort and contributions. The work is engaging and purposeful, and while it can be fast-paced, it is generally manageable for people who are organized, proactive, and comfortable in a client services environment.

Cons

As with most client-service organizations, workload can fluctuate based on client needs, deadlines, and events. At times, the pace increases to ensure clients receive timely responses and clear, thoughtful communication. This requires flexibility and care, especially during peak moments, but is grounded in a shared commitment to serving clients well.
