      Pros

      Rising sun is interesting in the way that the programs they support are social enterprise based. It was refreshing to work for an environmental nonprofit that actually practiced DEI, with high levels of POC in staff and leadership positions.

      Cons

      Due to funding growth in a nonprofit can be rough but RS has really good retention rates and has a strong history of promoting internally

      You are challenged to grow, with the many duties you are assigned. I handled outreach, office management, etc and have benefited from this experience.

      You are not a permanent employee, and do not have benefits.
