Pros

I have worked at for the past two years and leadership at RM Advisory is outstanding, they are always looking out for your career growth. Great experience working with big four firms but also having work life balance was truly a treasure.

Cons

Overall no real cons. It’s really dependent on the team you’re contracted out to.

Pros

The CEO is actively involved in the company and genuinely keeps an open door when anything needs to be discussed. Career progression opportunities are fairly good. The work is interesting, the people you interact with are smart, and job stability is excellent. I am confident that, had I stayed, my career would have continued to grow at a healthy clip. I especially appreciated that compensation growth is fair: RMAS isn’t timid about giving raises, and you don’t need to pull teeth with management to receive what you deserve. A lot of places can take a lesson from that. Everyone at RMAS is highly talented and was a pleasure to work with. Very nice, humble folks who know their stuff

Cons

The vacation and sick policy is lacking. The CEO is flexible and something reasonable can always be worked out if need be - but I prefer having a generous policy that is formalized. Client placement can be hit-or-miss if you’re experienced and picky. My first assignment was an excellent fit and was THE BEST experience of my career. My second assignment, which I attempted to refuse, directly lead to my resignation when it (predictably) turned out to be a poor fit. In hindsight, I could have communicated more firmly; but the company could have also given what I did say more weight. Health benefits weren’t as good as my previous firm but I think I was spoiled there. Not a huge deal but the employee monthly payment took me a little by surprise.
