Pros

This is a family owned company who showed me the ropes of being a hard worker and dedicated. I learned how to hold myself accountable and I have learned how to networking market with other people in the area. Working for a family owned small business has showed me how hard it is to create success from the ground up and really has inspired me and my yoga journey. The community this job has given me will always be a blessing.

Cons

Long hours in the heat and humidity. Planning before and after class for hours. Worth it though. It pays off.

Pros

I have found my dream job in Ritual Hot Yoga! Not only do I absolutely love teaching the Ritual format, but even in that, I feel such a sense of creative freedom through making my own sequences and playlists. The support that I get through management is something I have never experienced EVER in a job, not only in studio but supported in my future endeavors in the company. We are supported and encouraged to pursue a direction that fulfills our passion out of the studio, which is so empowering! We are full time, salary paid instructors with insurance benefits, paid time off and have the opportunity for a 401k. I would absolutely recommend working for Ritual Hot Yoga. I can't say enough good about it :)

Cons

Since I have to put something here, I would just say that if you are not a hard worker, this is not the company for you. We work hard. We play hard. We are a team that stops at nothing to be the best we can be!

Pros

Strong yoga teachers on staff. Assistant manager is great. High quality equipment.

Cons

Ongoing safety issues, including a lack of fire extinguishers, a broken emergency exit door, and no proper disinfectant provided for equipment or floors. Multiple staff members left following safety concerns, including situations without proper safety equipment, and how the owner responded. Communication from the owner often felt hot and cold and inconsistent. Heavy monitoring, including being recorded and constantly evaluated. It felt invasive and hurt morale. Compensation was inconsistent. Raises, wages, and bonuses were changed or withheld. During teacher training it was made clear that some work would be done off the clock. If you were sick, you were expected to find your own coverage. High turnover due to the environment and workload. Some teachers were scheduled to teach many 100 degree hot yoga classes in a day with only 10 minutes between classes at peak times, with little time for breaks. The pay did not match the workload.
