Pros
In the early days, all seem to be good, but slowly things turned bad, so no pros.
Cons
The salary was expected to be good, but with the acquisition, it is going nowhere. As promised there was no desirable increment seen as a new joiner. People who were already working with the company are leaving slowly There is no work-life balance at all. Peer to manager everyone is after your life, in case they are senior to you by years in the company. The manager does not listen and keeps on showing you the management and their overpromising dates as your target, which works you up/ freaks you. You get stressed and even might have suicidal tendencies at times. A single person is overloaded with the work of three people, also maintain code sanity, need clean projects, coding, and delivery times to be met. You will have to work a lot but should not ask for a market standard salary. Hikes are very bad. There are no perks of any kind. Medical benefits are reduced, the bonus is not good, and too many hidden taxes are charged. Respect your employees who come to you with suggestions or concerns and take some action. You are losing and will continue losing good employees because of bad management.
