Roadhouse is filled with wonderful people. Easily the nicest working environment I've been in. Pay and benefits were great, and I learned a ton by working there. Everyone was eager to help out with any trouble you may be having, regardless of the team you were on. You really got the sense that with hard work, you could change the company for the better, which is exceedingly rare in any job. The location is fantastic as well.

Upper management made the decision to let go of a number of employees recently for financial reasons, according to them. This seemed like a difficult choice for them. It struck me as a strange choice, as they had been hiring new people at a rapid rate. They also chose to let go some people who I thought were major contributors to the company, while keeping others who, as far as I could tell, were quite detrimental. In light of the above, the decision to let go of established, hard working employees rather than slow the rate of hiring and let go of a few problem people really stung.

Nice people to work with. Fun games are made here! Not too much overtime people care about their work. Technical artists know a lot!

Weird team distribution. The big project will get all the attention while smaller projects struggle. Don't even think on debating something with the shared server team, the conversations will start with the assumption that you're dumb. The office is ugly I call it the factory.
