Pros

Mentally challenging cases and smart group of attorneys

Cons

No work life balance - if you're considering being an attorney there be prepared to always be on call (never put your phone down, including evenings/weekends) and be prepared to cancel vacations for "emergency" motions/hearing prep. There is also very clear sexism occurring there - clear preference to hire male attorneys because women having babies and going on maternity leave are a clear inconvenience to management/culture there. The few women partners there do not want to see other women succeed. Named/founding partners of the firm, including the managing partner of the Boca Raton office does not vouch for women to be partner and does not care in seeing women succeed but has promoted several less experienced men as partners.

Pros

Robbins Geller has excellent attorneys, meaningful work, and a strong team culture. The standards are high, but so is the level of professionalism. It is a great environment for someone who takes pride in being organized, dependable, and part of a firm doing important work.

Cons

The pace can be demanding because the attorneys and teams operate at such a high level. That said, the expectations are clear, the work is meaningful, and if you take pride in being reliable, organized, and part of a strong team, it is a very rewarding environment.

Cons

Work is slow depending on cases, lack of oversight or management, no room for growth, pay is very low for San Diego
