Pros
The company itself is great. Amazing benefits and fantastic people. Unparalleled sales training. Lots of contests that can reward your performance. Bankers can earn A LOT of money.
Cons
As a banker, you have to be prepared to sacrifice a lot. I was told when I was hired that the schedule would be 8-6 on weekdays and two scheduled weekend days per month. Turns out you'll be working every weekend regardless of it being scheduled or not and leaving at 6 is heavily frowned upon. All this results in work becoming your life. If you're ok with that, then you'll go far. But if you're like me, and you don't want to have to cancel dates with your significant other the night of, keep your friendships active, or feel like you're a participant in your own life, then this isn't it. If you want to work here, I can't stress enough that it will be your life. Do it for a few years and then get out once you've saved up your money. There are other ways to make a decent living.
