Pros
Rocket is growing at a fast pace with lots of new opportunities. It is a great place to work and all the team members are compassionate about what they do to bring gene-therapies to patients with rare diseases. There is a sense of a shared goal to do good for the patient. Rocket promotes growth and encourages employees to perform at their highest ability. I am challenged in my role to develop my skills and strengths, which allow me to grow and develop in my career, gain cross-functional exposure, and attain visibility to Senior Management. Senior Management works really hard (not delegating, but “rolling up their sleeves”) to get the work done and genuinely cares about the employees. They create a welcoming on-boarding experience, hold quarterly townhalls so employees can get to know each other, and provide training opportunities (both for “on-the-job” skills and soft skills). From a philanthropic perspective, Rocket does a lot for the rare disease community hosting Rare Disease Day activities annually, and Rocket Giving Day, where employees are encouraged to do something for their community. No company is perfect. While Rocket grows, there are things that are evolving that come along with any growing company. The focus is on progress and patients. With this growth of the company is an amazing opportunity to define the future and the role I play in it. Rocket is truly a company that operates by strong values and ethics. The more motivated you are, the greater the opportunities you’ll find here! I am truly excited to be a part of Rocket!
