Pros
1. Everyone who works there, outside of leadership and management, are wonderful, hardworking, kind people. 2. That's all.
Cons
Where do I begin. Toxic is the first word that comes to mind. I've never felt more undervalued and micromanaged than I did while working at Rocket55. Here are some specifics: -Zero work/life balance. Employees are asked to be available even when on PTO. The amount of calls I would get from the CEO on a Saturday or Sunday was enough to make my anxiety spike through the roof. -They hire people into leadership with absolutely ZERO prior management experience, causing serious toxicity and favoritism. -Clients are often left unsatisfied more often than not. This is due to the fact that Rocket grossly overworks and underpays their employees. -As an Account Manager it is expected that you take the blame for any and all miscommunications, mistakes, missed deadlines, and unsatisfactory work. The pressure that is put on this team is eventually going to burn them all out, which has happened before, leaving Rocket with a crazy high turnover rate. -Micromanagement is their bread and butter. Every minute of the expected 40+ hour week is expected to be documented, otherwise employees are questioned. -If clients are unhappy, they immediately look to their employees to place blame. -Raises are promised, never given (unless it's to leadership or management.) Bottom line: If you want to work for a company that values you and genuinely cares about your wellbeing, don't work here. This review may seem harsh and bitter, but my hope is that this will help someone avoid having to go through what I and so many others went through.
