- Employee engagement survey is transparent and very visible - Company is stable; doesn't easily lay off groups en masse - Potential for career movement internally across a breadth of business units and functions
Cons
- Slow culture; parts of the organization are very traditional and conservative still - Middle management is not held accountable for developing, engaging, and retaining people - Career development resources exist, but are not really helpful - Little to no resources for employees to develop skills via training or even on the job
