Pros

Many reasons to share about why I enjoy working on Rula’s platform. Ease of onboarding to start, along with extensive written aids that provide clear direction and understanding for filling out the application. The Rula Support Team is top-notch! When I have needed to reach out for various reasons for assistance, the response time is within two blinks of an eye, day and night! When connected, they are not only knowledgeable, professional, and fast serving, they are also caring, helpful, supportive, and very respectful. The way they interact is even calming and reassuring. That is huge! There are different modes of connecting with support, too, which is such a plus. Additionally, there are many clinical resources that are clearly laid out and easily accessed, so it can be useful to scan the written guides to obtain help. They also provide notation samples that are useful. Rula also provides their clinicians with an AI generated note-taking tool (optional). ReCap has allowed me to take better care of myself, and in turn optimize care for my clients, as well as being able to focus more during sessions. It makes the process of notation smoother. I stay relatively full and appreciate how I do not have to focus on the business aspect of seeking clients. Even the name of the platform, Rula, is quite special. It is an Arabic word meaning, “Beautiful, Light, & Happiness.” What better platform could there be to use?

Pros

Talented colleagues doing hard work in a complex space. The mission is real and the people are, for the most part, good. If you're earlier in your career, you'll learn a lot from the people around you

Cons

The mission is compelling, but the day-to-day work is misaligned. There's a persistent gap between what the company says it stands for and how decisions actually get made. Ops in particular is really rough. Leadership in that function are weak managers, support is very bare-bones, and you'll be expected to build serious infrastructure without the organizational backing to do it. If you're a senior operator, you'll spend most of your energy compensating for problems that should be solved above you, not by you. Broader ops are reactive and chaotic in ways that compound seriously. Direction shifts without clear communication, accountability flows down rather than up, and the people doing the real work are left to absorb the consequences of decisions they did not take part in.
