Pros

- Company has a good mission - Opportunities to develop/progress - Relatively flat structure - easy to get decisions made - Friendly colleagues - Good office location and working from home flexibility

Cons

- Organisation tends to be stuck in the dark ages - Unsupportive HR, company is not interested in well-being of staff - CEO/Leadership tends to move goal posts or overturn agreed decisions without notice or informing you - Despite the company earning a lot of money, pay is very poor - you will have to beg for a pay rise and justify yourself constantly even if you are already going above and beyond - Leadership is very “clicky” and tends to be a closed circle, often only friends/favourites are given opportunities - Management have a strange attitude towards high turnover of staff, they often blame “young people not wanting to stay long” which is not the case.

Pros

You are not a 'number' but a valued member of the team. Comprehensive and supportive training package for new staff. Consistent and ongoing CPD and support for all. A mixture of working from home and in schools. High quality and supportive HR team The feeling of knowing you are making a difference and working in partnership with SLT Part of a fun and supportive team Opportunities to take on additional roles Organisation is key!

Cons

Some fairly early starts and finishes - with driving time. Need your own reliable car (full mileage allowance paid) Driving to and from schools can be long (great audio book time)

Pros

RMT is growing quickly and expanding at pace which means it's a very exciting time to join. You will be given the autonomy to implement changes that you think will positively impact the company and there is lots of trust from senior leadership. A flexible work environment with a mix of office and remote working. - Career growth opportunities - Diverse and inclusive culture - Interesting and challenging work - Supportive leadership

Cons

As a growing company, there is a lot to do. If you're not used to a fast-paced environment and being rigorous with prioritisation you could easily feel overwhelmed
