Pros

The people in the office were brilliant and friendly. All very clearly strong and good at their respective roles. Lots of knowledge to be accessed from senior staff. CEO and Directors clearly care a lot about the company and do offer out of work time activities.

Cons

For someone learning the industry, it was very much a sink or swim mentality with little support to prevent sinking. The commission structure was good, but offered no support for someone learning the role meaning no placements meant earning under the minimum wage which only increased pressure in those first few months which should be spent learning the industry rather than worrying about making ends meat. Whilst I don't think he meant to, if the CEO took a dislike to you, you would get completely different treatment compared to a different member of staff for the same thing (i.e being late).

Regarding your concerns, I take them seriously and would like to address them directly. As a business we strive to support all our team members, especially those new to the industry, through extensive induction programs and personalised training and development plans. These initiatives are designed to help newcomers focus on learning without feeling pressured to perform immediately. We are very transparent in this approach and it is our expectation that consultants then implement their learning on desk to ensure success with the support of their manager who holds weekly 1-2-1 meetings with each consultant in addition to daily planning sessions. With regards to your feedback on the commission structure, we want to clarify that our most junior sales team members receive a basic salary of £25,000, ensuring that no one earns below the national minimum wage. We understand the importance of fair compensation and support for all team members, especially during the initial learning phase. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts. This review appears to have been left in error. We are a recruitment agency specialising in Accountancy & Finance based in Black Notley, Essex, UK. We aren't based in California and we wouldn't have in any capacity employed an Airline Pilot. Glassdoor we would appreciate it if you removed this 'review'.
