Pros
*Very kind and understanding managers/co-workers - everyone is very nice
*Inclusive and understanding of pronouns - I admire the company efforts in trying to foster a culture of being open-minded
Cons
*Low compensation for a fintech company - then again, its fully WFH
*Very unpolished system - I feel like most of my work revolved around cleaning up messes that could've been easily prevented
*Learning opportunities are subpar - Again, as a leading fintech company in salary lending, I was expecting more
Overall, I noticed everyone was tired of chasing after countless deadlines. The systematic mess continues to feed itself. And while everyone may be nice, the fully WFH set-up makes it difficult to feel a culture. The only "inclusivity" they promised that I felt was the addition of pronouns to Slack profiles. Other than that? Nothing else. My internship experience was more of a reason not to work here. The only fulfilling pro is that I get exposure to the internals of an expanding fintech company
