Excellent benefits, compensation, leadership engagement, employee investment, and structured opportunities for growth—especially now.

Cons

Negatives are becoming fewer with new leadership direction. Jobs in offices separate from HQ may feel somewhat less "connected" than HQ jobs, but that depends on your position.

Pros

- Competitive salary, paid time off, and overall benefits, with many employees staying on for their entire careers as a result. - Meaningful work and interesting variety of projects. - Lots of opportunities to get into the field and see the fruit of your work. - Company is well-regarded in the local community. - Plenty of office-wide and company-wide meetings with interesting presentations and catered food, although supposedly this has gone down in quantity compared to prior years. - Interesting presentations/demos from various industry vendors and opportunities to attend industry events. - Overall, coworkers are quite friendly and the culture is generally positive. - Some trainings are provided, both in-house and external, although these have also decreased in frequency compared to prior years and are largely dependent on how willing your leader is to fight for you getting training (some leaders may take a more sink-or-swim approach)

Cons

- Growing pains due to rapid growth in service territory seem to be somewhat overwhelming existing business processes, and result in internal inconsistencies (as an example, some teams allow remote work days while others to not, even within the same department) - Lack of effective communication/collaboration between teams seems to sometimes result in resentfulness, finger-pointing, and jaded/cynical attitudes, negatively impacting morale. - Foul language is quite common both in casual conversation and in team meetings, communications are not always timely, and overall professionalism is somewhat lacking at times. - Organization is somewhat top-heavy, with title inflation not necessarily reflecting number of direct reports or scope of responsibility. - Personal/sick days system is somewhat confusing and banked sick days are lost upon retirement/resignation.
