Small law firm with lots of potential - Director of HR SHD Legal Group Employee Review

Firm does a good job with employee activities.

Attorney caseload is a little heavy at times.

Pros are diminishing, however the office is nice. Insurance is reasonable. They will acknowledge your birthday and years of service monthly. You have a couple holidays off that other offices do not offer. Also generous PTO accrual.

Unorganized. Fake open door policy. Inexperienced staff. High attrition. You feel like you are restarting constantly because the persons before or after your process have no idea what’s going on. Catty legal team. There is a contracted consultant absently parading in an “acting position” who just leads to more confusion and an overwhelming pie in the sky feeling.
