Pros
Shortly after working at SLS you will become acquainted with critical self-preservation strategies that can help in other, far superior opportunities once you leave, which you will—just look at the turnover rate. You’ll learn these strategies out of sheer necessity because the work environment reeks of discrimination, scapegoating, and narcissistic leadership.
Cons
You are just a number at SLS. The image of team appreciation is no other than a crafty facade used to lure talent. Ultimately, CEO seeks to use and abuse staff, burn them out, and toss them out, but first promises shiny salary and other “benefits” that are designed as a trap—will hang this over staff’s head to justify incessant goal post moving, gaslighting and downright abuse. Honest discussion encouraged but beware—another trap, to discern “loyalty”—anyone found to disagree with leadership’s tactics will immediately be singled out and discarded in the most disgusting display of tribalism I have ever encountered. If this is what happens in the spotlight, just imagine what transpires behind the scenes.
