Pros

Not too much positive here.

Cons

Very toxic culture. No reward. Is an ESOP and only one person getting wealthy. Massive turnover in staff and management. Mostly because of 1 person.

We are unsure what you mean when you stated "no reward", however, we encourage you to contact the HR department for clarification. SPBS provides numerous benefits to its employee-owners. In addition to the health and commuter benefits, SPBS is a 100% employee-owned company. Your comment suggests a misunderstanding of how an ESOP plan works. In summary, there are protections against a single employee becoming wealthy through this program - monitored by both the IRS and DOL. We encourage our employee-owners to become well educated on the program through internal and external resources to prevent these misunderstandings. Turnover is an unfortunate, yet unavoidable, occurrence in many companies within our industry with the low unemployment rate. Our turnover is closely monitored and we have made significant efforts in culture and incentive to combat the declining candidate pool.

Pros

My colleagues were great and they paid on time.

Cons

Terrible management as they don't help at all. Turnover at this company has to over 50% as I saw so many people leave, including myself. Not sure how this company makes money with the amount of turnover and training. Do not believe recruiters when they tell you its a great work culture as its the complete opposite.
