Pros
Free coffee when the machine wasn't broken. In lieu of a holiday party or bonus, we got a holiday breakfast during work hours. "YAY!" Oh, and lets not forget the Taco Guy once a year for lunch!
Cons
First, the office location! Traffic is a nightmare in that area. Better cross your fingers you don't get t-boned if you have to make a left turn out of there. Big brother is always watching. Access control system to badge in and out. Cameras everywhere, hidden microphones, email is monitored, phones are tapped, company vehicles have cameras watching you drive and GPS to check where you've been. If you work hard and sacrifice personal time for overtime, then you will get a spectacular 50 cent raise. And that is after you build up the courage to ask for it, they will not recognize your hard work and give you one. They're philosophy is- "You're getting OT" But if you don't work OT, then you're not a team player. Now lets discuss nepotism. Lets just say, some people shouldn't have the positions they have, or the salaries. They have no understanding of the real world. I'm sure in an alternate universe, they are asking- "Would you like that in a Tall, Grande or Venti?" If you enjoy stressful days, sleepless nights and anxiety as you drive there, then this is the place for you!
