Pros
Not only does their salary suck, their benefits have to be by far the worst health insurance I've ever seen. This is the first time working in healthcare and I cannot beleive how awful our benefits are. No wonder they can't keep staff on board. Or why Nurses are constantly striking. I love the people I work with but using their insurance, then dealing with all the billing issues each visit takes out of my day, I want to find a new job just for better insurance. It's almost laughable
Cons
Benefits are downright terrible, then they will mess up every single bill you have, so that you'll spend your days at SSM, trying to take care of the messed up billing you received as a patient at SSM. Have to use PTO for any and all holidays. There is no holiday pay. Some have to work in downright disgusting working environments,
