      It is good to work as a telephonic interpreter because you can meanwhile be researching on the internet what you need on a daily job. It is good to work from home. You have time to be perfecting your skills while you receive another call.

      Cons

      The con that it has is that you are not provided with a full time job and so your income is not steady.

      Pros

      Flexible hours, make your own schedule, choose your own assignments. Variety of assignments in different settings

      Cons

      Less than 20 hrs per week for non certified. Set boundaries and be firm when you are not available to work as they can be very pushy when desperate but will still keep you as an employee
