Pros
Good pay for the work, limited contact with management, most leads are pretty great to work with. Good people on base. Potential to pick up a government job. Full time positions w/benefits. Easy job to stay in if you're competent and mostly a people person. Working with mostly former military who are pretty casual, not easily offended.
Cons
Local management micromanages/doesn't seem to stand up for their employees. Contract position, so you're limited as to what you can do, and when anyone on the government side complains about anything, we have to fall in line and correct the issue. Limited room for advancement. Very specific work, so it's difficult to transfer that anywhere else other than a government job. High turnover. Local management not flexible.
