Pros

The work itself is great, the benefits are good, the pay is good

Cons

Smart ideas for improvement or innovation will quickly get you fired if it makes one of the higher ups look bad. Because it wasn't their idea.

Pros

The people at the facility were incredibly kind & welcoming. They truly want everyone to succeed. I don't want anything I say to discredit them; they were thoughtful & willing to go the extra mile. Everyone from the machine operators to the GM were kind & ready to assist.

Cons

I was hired & specifically told that I'd spend the first 6-9 months learning & training in order to grow on my skills before being promoted into a role for someone to move onto a higher role. Very quickly, they were backtracking on that. From telling the company I was brought on for one thing & then being upset I was doing mostly that task, to my direct manager not speaking to me about what I had asked to learn. At the end of the day, I was terminated after a month because they did not think I was capable enough to learn. They admitted after feedback I improved tremendously but said "the fact we had to give you feedback was a red flag." This coming after a company wide workshop saying onboarding takes longer than 90 days. I lasted 30 days because they didn't realize they wanted to just hire at that higher level & instead insinuated I was stupid & incapable. I found out I was being terminated by a PTO request, my manager to this day has not spoken to me in regards to this.
