Pros
The company has a genuinely great office culture. People are friendly, relaxed, and sociable, which makes the workplace enjoyable day to day. There's a strong sense of autonomy—employees are trusted to work independently towards high-level goals without being micromanaged.
Cons
There is a significant lack of management structure and support. Feedback is rare, whether positive or constructive, and there’s little to no transparency around decision-making. In my case, I was let go without any explanation, despite consistently receiving positive feedback in one-on-one meetings. My manager, team, HR, and other departments were surprised by the decision, which felt abrupt and poorly handled—especially as replacements for probationary employees seemed to have already been lined up. Additionally, the role was advertised as a data analyst position, but the work was largely focused on data engineering tasks—suggesting a mismatch in job expectations, possibly to justify a lower salary. I was also required to take on work outside of the agreed scope.
