Pros

Good location, free parking, pretty good benefits

Cons

Lack of respect for employees, senior management berates them in public, lack of trust at all levels of management, employees are afraid to speak up. Too many mid-level managers that are trying to please upper management with little focus on customer needs. Pay is flat to low compared to other Aerospace industries in the area.

Pros

People are treated very well at Safran. They might not be the highest paying Aerospace company in the USA, but they have great benefits, management, and people. And still, the pay is usually competitive.

Cons

The headquarters are in France and therefore you need to be open to a different culture. Additionally, French and English are used sometimes in communications.

Pros

Many learning opportunities for troubleshooting different types of avian generator control units. Opportunities to work with a variety of engineering departments including production, test, quality, and industrialization. Occasional overtime opportunities.

Cons

High stress due to production deadlines, especially at the end of month. Miscommunications due to constant reprioritizing of needs. Difficult to move from short term (1 year+ only) contracts to full time positions.
