Determine the constituent elements of the assembly and the method of linking them. ▪ Adjust and possibly correct parts. ▪ Perform fastener installation operations (drilling, reaming, milling, tapping). ▪ Place and assemble the parts together. ▪ Make sure parts are tight and protected. ▪ Carry out the metal processing process. ▪ Perform operational control tests. ▪ Fill in the tracking data. ▪ Learn about the materials and parts used in assembly. ▪ Learn about assembly processes and installation methods. ▪ Be able to read instruction sheets and follow strict processes and methodology. ▪ Learn how to use manual tools (file, scraper) and machine tools for adjustment ▪ Assembly of parts. ▪ Hydraulic drive. ▪ Electrical conduit. ▪ Perform pH and reflector leak tests. ▪ Driven handling of mobile cranes ▪ Know how to use measuring and control tools (calipers, pressure gauge, micrometer, comparison, micrometers).

Pros

Many learning opportunities for troubleshooting different types of avian generator control units. Opportunities to work with a variety of engineering departments including production, test, quality, and industrialization. Occasional overtime opportunities.

Cons

High stress due to production deadlines, especially at the end of month. Miscommunications due to constant reprioritizing of needs. Difficult to move from short term (1 year+ only) contracts to full time positions.
