Pros

Family is probably a word you'll hear everyday at the office. Someone will usually always check up on you, you'll laugh everyday. This place is BUSY and PROFESSIONAL so you'll gain plenty of experience dealing with higher ups and how to do so. Taking charge and expressing ideas are welcomed so feeling snuffed is rare.

Cons

Unfortunately, the word 'Family' is used so often that its taken advantage of as well. There is plenty of nepotism to go around. You find yourself in the middle of weird, personal requests like taking their cars for inspections, going to the Apple store to fix their cracked tablets/phones, updating their phone plans, buying gifts for their friends, organizing their credit cards. Although I felt helpful and apart of the family, these personal requests took up A LOT of time, sometimes half the day, leaving my actual work, like planning parties, ordering supplies, and answering phones in last place.

Thank you for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated! As you mentioned, we highly encourage open communication as we believe that is the best way to improve. While we do acknowledge that there are things we need to work on, we would like to make it clear that all tasks requested from an employee are in the job description and disclosed during the interview. Your specific position included personal errands for some members of management. While there might be some tasks that an employee does not like to do, this is where we expect & encourage open communication to be able to help one another. We are sorry to only learn about this now. We will do our best to keep on improving, and we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
