Although my time with Salt + Light Works was brief, my decision to leave was based solely on personal fit. The organization’s mission and commitment to serving the community are truly inspiring. Adrianne, the CEO, demonstrates exceptional leadership, integrity, and compassion in all that she does. I hold the utmost respect for her and the team and wish Salt + Light continued growth and success in fulfilling its mission.

The position ultimately wasn’t the right fit for my experience and work style, but the leadership and mission are exceptional.

The most powerful part of working at Salt + Light is that we do our work where our neighbors live. That closeness changes everything. We are not just running programs, we are sharing space and building daily relationships. It means we can step in right when support is needed, celebrate small wins as they happen, and be present in the hard moments too. This creates a level of trust and connection that goes far deeper than traditional service models.
