I was let go a year ago, and the trauma it caused my family and me still lingers. At that time, I was in a critical position facing some medical issues to which never affected my performance. Samcart was fully aware of my circumstances, yet they showed no compassion. Fortunately, this experience led me to a managerial role at one of the top accounting firms in the country, where they truly practice what they preach. I had a frustrating stint at this startup. I diligently fulfilled all my job responsibilities, but it felt like my efforts were never valued. It's disheartening to witness Samcart's tendency to let go of employees from diverse backgrounds. I would strongly advise staying away from this company, despite their enticing benefits and remote work setup. The environment is highly competitive, even though the product itself isn't outstanding.
