Pros
SBM opened its first restaurant about 16 years ago and its current portfolio of restaurants spans across 4 major cities (NYC, Miami, Vegas, and London). It is still considered a small company, although it's on a fast track to become global. The advantage to that is you could have more impact on the company if you're driven. You could quickly become an instrumental part of the company, but the key is you have to first prove yourself and gain their trust. Once that's done, big new doors will open for you! I enjoyed my 5 years with the company and am truly grateful for all the knowledge and experience I gained.
Cons
This may not necessarily be a con, but it may be for some people (or most). SBM is in the hospitality/restaurant industry after all, and it's open 365 days/year..so full commitment is truly necessary. There will be no room for half-assing. Also, it is a growing company, so yes, there will be some growing pains as the company matures and establishes itself globally.
